Cala Estància is eleven kilometres east of Palma, located between Caló de Son Caios and the Club Marítim Sant Antoni de la Platja. This beach is fully integrated into the development of the same name, whose edges mix with the nearby residential and tourist area of Can Pastilla, the point where one area starts and the next begins being imperceptible to the visitor. The earliest of the complexes of hotels for mass tourism that characterise this part of Palma`s coastline are next to this beach. This is a wide beach with fine white sand. Breakwaters at both ends direct the sea towards the coast, making Cala Estància into a sort of natural swimming pool with a depth that never exceeds three metres and a very gentle slope. Road access is simple if you follow the signs. There is a limited amount of free parking, so we recommend using public transport as the bus stops 100 metres from the beach. Bathers share the waters of Cala Estància with many small boats at anchor. Its eastern breakwater is the boundary with the nearest marina to the beach, the Club Marítim Sant Antoni de la Platja.
